Before First Use

Your fire pit may have a light coating of oil from the quenching process. Before using it for the first time, thoroughly wipe down the surface and burn off any excess residue.

After Use

Once cool, wipe the fire pit clean and apply a light coat of cooking oil before storing it somewhere dry. This helps protect the mild steel from moisture and reduces the risk of rust.
